Library rules
Sharing routines, safely
The Library only works if people can trust what they install. These are the rules, and how we check them.
What you can share
Routines and routine packs exported from KeyRoutines, with a clear name, an honest description and screenshots of your own setup.
What isn't allowed
- Anything that harms the person installing it: deleting or encrypting their files, changing security settings, downloading and running programs they didn't ask for, or sending their data anywhere.
- Routines that play games, send input into games, or try to get around anti-cheat. KeyRoutines refuses these anyway.
- Passwords, keys, tokens or personal information, yours or anyone else's.
- Descriptions that hide what a routine does, spam, or someone else's work without permission.
How every upload is checked
- Automatic checks. The file must be a real KeyRoutines export that matches the routine format, within size limits, with no passwords, keys or folders from the uploader's own PC.
- A summary of what it does. The site lists every app it opens, every website it calls, every file location it touches and every script it runs, so reviewers and visitors see it plainly.
- Human review. Nothing is public until QaemDev approves that exact version. Routines with scripts, web requests or admin features get a closer look. New versions and changed descriptions are reviewed again.
- Safe install. KeyRoutines shows its own permission preview before saving an installed routine, and the routine starts switched off.
Reporting
Every routine page has a Report button. Reported routines are reviewed first, and approved versions can be pulled at any time. You can also email [email protected].
Your content
You keep ownership of what you share. By sharing it, you let anyone install, use and adapt it, and let QaemDev show it on keyroutines.com and in KeyRoutines. You can unlist your routine at any time from your account.
