Background input

Background input means sending keys, text or clicks to an app that isn't the window in front.

KeyRoutines' Press keys step can deliver keys to a desktop app behind other windows, so you can keep working while a routine presses Ctrl+S in another app. Background text and background clicks are Pro steps. Background input works for desktop apps, not games: KeyRoutines never sends input to a game.
