How it works
- Paste the person's user ID: turn on Developer Mode in Discord, right-click them and pick Copy User ID.
- Set the volume in percent; 100 is normal and the maximum is 200.
- The change only affects what you hear. Nobody else in the call notices anything.
Routines that use it
Quiet friend boost
When Discord: join voice channel connects you to your group's channel, set your quiet friend to 160 percent.
Hotkeys for a loud caller
Two Hotkey routines turn one person down to 50 percent and back up to 100.
Streaming balance
When you go live, lower a co-host who is also on stream audio so they aren't doubled in your headset.

Good to know
- Needs the person's user ID from Discord's Developer Mode.
- Like every Discord step, it needs the Discord app running and your own Discord application connected first.

- How do I get someone's Discord user ID?
- Turn on Developer Mode under User Settings ▸ Advanced in Discord, then right-click the person and choose Copy User ID.
