How it works
- Choose the page: the game's launcher page, its Steam store page, the Steam library, or Big Picture.
- For a game page, pick the game; its link comes from KeyRoutines' scan of your installed games.
- Game pages work for Steam, GOG Galaxy, Battle.net and Xbox games.
- Opening a page never starts the game, and it is allowed even while a protected game is running.
Routines that use it
Couch mode
A Hotkey switches audio to the TV with Set default audio device and opens Steam Big Picture.
Check for updates first
Before launching with Open app, open the game's launcher page so you can see if an update is waiting.
Wishlist sale check
At a time on Thursday evening, open the Steam store page of a game you are watching.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Page | Which page to open. |
| Game | The game whose page to open (game and store pages). |
Good to know
- Store pages, the library and Big Picture are Steam-only.
Questions
- How do I open Steam Big Picture with a shortcut?
- Make a routine with a Hotkey and Open game page set to Big Picture. It opens Steam's Big Picture mode without starting any game.
- Will opening the page launch the game?
- No. It only opens the page in the launcher, so nothing starts until you press Play.
