How it works
- Enter the time in 24-hour format, such as 09:00 or 18:30, and pick the days; none chosen means every day.
- If the time passed while KeyRoutines wasn't running or the PC was asleep, choose to skip that run or run it once as soon as possible.
- Daylight saving is handled: a time skipped when the clocks go forward moves on by the gap, and a time repeated when they go back runs once.
- If the time you type isn't valid, the routine card says so and nothing is armed; when it is armed, the card shows the next run.
Routines that use it
Work start
At 09:00 on weekdays, Open app starts your work apps and Apply layout arranges them across your monitors.
End of day
At 18:30, Show banner asks if you're done, then Close app shuts your work tools.
Bedtime
At 23:30, Set volume lowers the sound and Dark or light mode switches to dark.

Questions
- How do I start apps automatically at a certain time on Windows 11?
- Create a routine with At a time, set the time and the days, and add Open app for each app. It runs every chosen day while KeyRoutines is running.
- What happens if my PC was asleep at the scheduled time?
- That depends on the missed-run option: skip, the default, forgets it; run once starts it as soon as the PC is back. A note on the routine card tells you a run was skipped.
