How it works
- Choose Push to Talk, Voice Activity, or switch between them.
- It changes the input mode setting only; the push-to-talk key itself stays the one you set in Discord.
- Like the other Discord steps, it reads the current mode first and reports the mode afterwards.
Routines that use it
Push to talk for ranked games
When Game started fires for a competitive game, switch Discord to Push to Talk, and back to Voice Activity on Game stopped.
Streaming
When OBS stream started or stopped reports you went live, switch to Push to Talk so background noise stays off stream.
Late-night calls
Inside Time and day after 23:00, a routine switches to Push to Talk so keyboard noise doesn't wake anyone on the call.

Good to know
- KeyRoutines doesn't press or hold your push-to-talk key; Discord still handles that key.
- Works with the Discord desktop app after the one-time Discord connection in KeyRoutines.
Questions
- Can I switch Discord to push to talk automatically for certain games?
- Yes. Use the Game started trigger for those games with Discord: push-to-talk mode set to Push to Talk. A Game stopped routine can switch back.
- Does it change my push-to-talk key?
- No. It only changes the input mode, and your keybind stays as you set it in Discord.
