How it works
- Pick a light, or leave it empty to control every Elgato light found on the network.
- Choose on, off, or toggle; with several lights, toggle turns them all off if any is on, otherwise all on, just like Elgato's own app.
- A light that is already as asked gets no command, and the log says so.
- The step reports each light's state before and after, so a mode can restore it.
Routines that use it
Lights follow the camera
When Mic or camera in use reports the camera on, turn the lights on, and off again when the camera stops.
Going live
When OBS stream started or stopped reports a stream starting, turn the lights on alongside Show or hide desktop icons.
Leaving the desk
When PC locked fires, turn every Elgato light off.
Settings

Good to know
- Only Key Light, Key Light Air, Key Light Mini and Ring Light are supported, and they must be on the same local network.
Questions
- Can my Elgato light turn on automatically when my webcam starts?
- Yes. Use the Mic or camera in use trigger set to the camera, with Turn Elgato light on or off set to on. A second routine can turn it off when the camera stops.
- Does it work with several lights at once?
- Yes. Leave the light empty and the step controls every Elgato light it finds on your network.
