How it works
- Choose "the window in front" or describe a window by its app, title or class.
- Outputs include its title, program and path, size and position, which monitor it's on and where on that monitor, whether it's normal, minimized, maximized or hidden, and whether it's in front, on top or running as administrator.
- By default a missing window fails the step; turn that off and the step reports that nothing was found instead.
- You can let it wait for a window that hasn't appeared yet.
Routines that use it
Move it back from the TV
Get window info checks which monitor your browser is on, and if it's the TV, Move and resize sends it back to your desk monitor.
Copy the active window's title
A hotkey reads the window in front and Set clipboard copies its title for your notes.
Different action when maximized
If the window in front is maximized, Window state restores it; otherwise it maximizes it, giving you a one-key toggle.

Questions
- How do I find out which monitor a window is on?
- Use Get window info on that window. Its output names the monitor and the window's position on it.
- Does Get window info change the window?
- No. It only reads, so nothing moves, resizes or comes to the front.
