How to turn Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on and off with a hotkey

In KeyRoutines, add two Hotkey triggers and an If on Started by trigger. One branch runs Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on/off for Bluetooth set to the other way round, the other for Wi-Fi, and Show banner confirms the change.

Steps

  1. 1

    Add hotkeys

Add Hotkey triggers, for example Ctrl+Alt+B for Bluetooth and Ctrl+Alt+W for Wi-Fi.

  2. 2

    Branch on the key

Add an If with Started by trigger set to the Bluetooth hotkey.

  3. 3

    Toggle the radio

Add Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on/off with Bluetooth and Turn set to the other way round; in the Else branch, the same with Wi-Fi.

  4. 4

    Confirm it

Add Show banner with the step's on result, such as "Bluetooth on".

Tips

  • Turning Wi-Fi off from a routine disconnects you immediately, so don't put it before steps that need the internet.
