KeyRoutines Pro is a one-time $29.99 upgrade for up to 2 PCs.

Steps

  1. 1

    Add a Typed text trigger

Set the abbreviation to ;date and leave Replacement empty, so it runs the routine instead.

  2. 2

Add Press keys with Backspace once per character you typed, plus one for the ending space.

  3. 3

    Format the date

Add Format date with an empty date (now) and a format such as yyyy-MM-dd or dddd d MMMM.

  4. 4

    Type it

Add Type text with the Format date step's result.
