How it works
- Pick the output, then start, stop or toggle it; the replay buffer can also save a clip, and a recording can pause and resume.
- It checks OBS's state first, so starting something that's already running simply succeeds.
- Its outputs say whether the output is on afterwards, plus the file path for a stopped recording or a saved replay.
- For safety it never waits for OBS or retries on its own: if OBS isn't connected it fails right away, so a stream can't go live long after you pressed the key.
- A dry run reads OBS's state and only says what it would do.
Routines that use it
Replay buffer with your game
When Game started fires, start the replay buffer; when Game stopped fires, stop it again.
Save a clip on a key
Bind a Hotkey to save the replay buffer, then Show banner says the clip was saved.
One-key go live
A hotkey switches to your Starting Soon scene with OBS: switch scene and then starts the stream.
Settings

| Output | Recording, streaming, the replay buffer or the virtual camera. |
| Action | What to do with it. |
Good to know
- Saving a replay needs the replay buffer turned on in OBS's Output settings and running.
- OBS must already be open and connected; this step doesn't wait for it.
Questions
- How do I start the OBS replay buffer automatically when a game starts?
- Make a routine with the Game started trigger and an OBS: record / stream / replay step set to start the replay buffer. Add a matching routine on Game stopped to stop it.
- Can it turn on the OBS virtual camera?
- Yes. Choose the virtual camera as the output and start, stop or toggle it.
- Why doesn't it wait for OBS to open?
- Going live late would be a surprise, so this step fails at once when OBS isn't there. Put a Wait until OBS is connected before it if OBS is still starting.
