How it works
- Pick the mode to switch on.
- If it's already on, nothing happens and the step reports no change.
- When the mode belongs to a set, the other modes in that set turn off first and restore their own changes.
- By default the routine waits for the switch to finish before moving on; an advanced option lets it continue right away.
Routines that use it
Game starts, mode on
When Game started fires, turn Gaming mode on to switch the headset and power plan.
Morning setup
At 9:00, turn Work mode on; because both are in one set, Gaming mode turns off first.
Docked laptop
When a monitor is connected, turn Desk mode on to apply your window layout and audio device.

Questions
- Can only one mode be on at a time?
- Only if you put modes in the same set. Turning one on then turns the others in that set off first.
- What happens if the PC restarts while a mode is on?
- The mode stays on and KeyRoutines reminds you, so you can turn it off from the tray and get your settings back.
