How to sort screenshots into monthly folders automatically
Create a KeyRoutines routine with a Folder changed trigger on Pictures\Screenshots for new *.png files, Format date with the layout yyyy-MM, and Move or copy file to move each screenshot into a folder named after the month.

Watch the folder
Add Folder changed on Pictures\Screenshots with the pattern *.png; *.jpg, created only, and subfolders off.

Get the month
Add Format date with the layout yyyy-MM.

Move the file
Add Move or copy file, set to move, with the destination set to the month, such as 2026-11. A short name means a folder next to the file, created if it's missing.
Tips
- Folder changed waits until the file has been quiet for a second, so a screenshot still being saved fires once.
- Moves made by KeyRoutines don't set the trigger off again, so the routine never loops.
Questions
- Does it work for game captures?
- Yes. Point the trigger at your capture folder instead, such as Videos\Captures.
- Can I undo it?
- Yes. Each move is recorded, and Undo file moves on the run's page puts the file back.
