How to have Windows say the time out loud every hour

Use KeyRoutines' Every … trigger set to 60 minutes and an If with Time and day for your waking hours. Format date gives the time as HH:mm and Speak text says "It's" followed by the time.

Steps

1. 1

   Run every hour

   Add Every … set to 60 minutes.

   Only during the day

   Add an If with Time and day from 08:00 to 23:00.

   Get the time

   Add Format date with the layout HH:mm.

   Say it

   Add Speak text with "It's" and the time, on your headset if you like.

Tips

• Every … counts from when you turn the routine on, so turn it on at the top of the hour for an on-the-hour chime.
• Speak text is skipped while Quiet mode is on, unless the step says to speak anyway.
