How to hold reminders until your game is closed

Give the reminder routine its usual trigger, such as At a time, then add a Wait until no protected game is running before Show banner and Speak text. If you're in a match, the reminder waits; if not, it shows right away.

Steps

  1. 1

    Schedule the reminder

Add At a time, for example 21:00 every day.

  2. 2

Wait for the match to end

Add a Wait until that waits until Protected game running is no longer true, with a time limit of a few hours.

  3. 3

    Cover other full-screen games

For games without anti-cheat, add a second Wait until on Full-screen app in front with "games only" turned on, waiting until none is in front.

  4. 4

    Show it

Add Show banner and Speak text with your reminder.

Tips

  • The Wait until continues the moment game-safe changes, for example when the game closes, so the reminder isn't late.
  • Show banner never draws over a protected game anyway; this routine also holds the spoken part.

Questions

Will I still get it if I play past the time limit?
Set what happens when the Wait until times out: carry on and show it anyway, or stop the routine.
Is it free?
Yes. At a time, Protected game running, Full-screen app in front, Show banner and Speak text are free.
